Room Full of Roses

The rose scent has been a fragrance staple for many years and is now getting a little bit of a facelift with fragrance houses interpreting rose in different ways. Christian Dior has taken a softer more feminine approach to the rose in their new Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de Toilette whereas Shay & Blue have decided to kick it up a gear showing the stronger, more seductive side of the rose.

  1. Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de Toilette: The most recent addition to the Miss Dior franchise, the perfume itself is much more light-hearted and fanciful than previous incarnations. The top note of mandarin quickly gives way to the luxurious heart of peonies and damask rose, white musk at the bottom ensures the fragrance lingers on your skin all day. If you are looking for something softer than the Dior heavyweight J’adore but don’t want to compromise on quality, this is highly worth a try.

  1. Shay & Blue Amber Rose: ‘Seductive. Head-turning. A temptress in disguise’ are the words used by creators to describe the distinctive Shay & Blue natural fragrance. If you’re looking for something unique, look no further; notes of rose, dulce de leche and white amber are soft yet quite intriguing to wear.
