The Greens Sandwich Bar + Café
47 Jetty Road, Glenelg
When Jordan and Marty moved to Adelaide from Perth, they walked past the site of their new café and knew it was a perfect match. The Greens Sandwich Bar + Café is a little slice of America on Jetty Road, Glenelg. Picture food that is fresh, fun and delicious! Marty, a builder-turned-chef is big on serving up quick food made fresh to order and coffee that is brewed to perfection. Hailing from America, Jordan has added her twist to the menu with dessert sandwiches (made from donuts!), all day breakfast, American-inspired bagels, with a side of potato chips, and dill pickles. You can’t go past their custard filled almond croissants and cherry danishes. The decor is fresh white with a cool coastal feel whilst the wooden accents and textured walls add a relaxed and friendly feel to the space.
Smashed Greens smashed avocado, baby spinach, Persian fetta, pink salt, lemon, extra virgin olive oil, on a wholemeal bagel for $13.50.
Herbed Chicken Sourdough shredded chicken mixed with fresh herbs and seeded mustard, baby cos, avocado, lemon mayonnaise and cheddar cheese for $15.

You can’t miss the Italian flavour when you enter Capriccio at Glenelg, just off Jetty Road on Sussex Street.
Francesco Scuteri is Adelaide food royalty. He and his wife, Esterina have run their family restaurant in the same location since 1980. Capriccio is a true hidden gem, serving up authentic dishes in a light, homestyle dining room.
3rd Generation foodies
Francesco’s father started the iconic Paganas Italian Restaurant on Hindley Street which was one of the first café-style eateries in Adelaide. Frank now works at his restaurant with his wife, son Stefan and daughter in-law Adriana.
