Located in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, this event is nine days of free family fun that transforms the square into a festive playground bursting with colour, live music, food trucks, Christmas movie screenings and a tonne of activities.
2018 Bay Sheffield
First run 132 years ago to celebrate 50 years of the Proclamation of South Australia, the Bay Sheffield is a three day athletics carnival where people from all over the world come to compete. Set on Glenelg’s Colley Reserve, the amphitheatre makes for an exciting weekend.
Another reason to celebrate Aussie music at the beach! International superstars The Kooks will be playing their first South Australian show in five years alongside indie sensations Winston Surfshirt and The Last Dinosaurs, and Adelaide’s rising star MANE.
New Year’s Eve Gala
Finish the year with a bang at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Welcome 2019 in style with a delicious four-course dinner, live music and a perfect view of the Riverbank fireworks come midnight.
