Jane from Abbode Interiors says while 2019 wallpaper choices will include rich earthy tones of clay, red and deep apricots, the main accent colour for the year will be teal. Patterned, metallic mix, geometric, whatever you fancy.
2: MID-CENTURY MODERN

3: BATHROOM LUXE
You can never have too many cushions, and in 2019 they are even making their way into the bathroom! Yes, that’s right, bathrooms are being styled with soft furnishings including cushions and small soft seating.
4: COLOUR THERAPY
Sage green replaces light grey as the new colour of choice for walls, linen, cabinetry – just about everything! Also up there is rose beige, terracotta and stonewash blue.
5: COLOURED GLASS
Mixing vintage with modern day luxe will be big news, and a coloured glass vase is an affordable vintage-inspired must-have. Want t make more of a statement? 6: TEXTILE TAPESTRIES
Boho wall hangings have been replace with super cool and colourful geometric wall hangings. Get it right and you have yourself a statement artwork.
7: MERMAID TILES
A continuation of the curved trend, mermaid-esque tiles are the statement for on-trend wet areas. Use them as a feature tile in a bright pop of colour.
8: CURVE THIS WAY
Straight lines are so 2018. Furniture, mirrors, even window frames and doorways will move away from the linear lines we’ve seen in recent years and return with a curve. Think rounded sofas and curvilinear cuts in feature mirrors.

10: DARK TIMBER
The blonde Scandi-inspired timbers are being replaced by dark wood, so if you’re in the market for a new kitchen this is something you’ll want to consider. Black is also proving popular.
