It’s been known for some time now that the small bar scene in Adelaide is growing rapidly. A true focal point of South Australian night life, both locals and tourists alike flock to Peel St, Leigh Sreet, Ebenezer Place and more every week – but did you know there are so many hidden bars scattered across the city? Queue The Adelaide Bar Boys!
A love of exploring the nightlife across Europe, found friends Branden Kentish and Nathan Peters becoming asked more and more to show their travel companions around each city visited, that’s when they discovered something that their hometown of Adelaide was missing – intimate and fun bar tours!
What makes Adelaide Bar Boys stand out from other rigid tours is their approach. Taking on groups of 10 (and also offering private tours), the boys’ relaxed, happy nature makes you feel like you’re on a night out with friends.
While we can’t give too much away, (the hidden bars are revealed throughout the tour), we can tell you that the experience is outstanding! On the night, guests will enjoy a premium cocktail from each of the six venues visited, as well as plenty of snacks, grazing tables and nibbles to satisfy even the hungriest of people – so don’t eat prior! What’s better, is that one of the venues is exclusive to Adelaide Bar Boys, so the chances you’ve visited every bar are slim.
The great part about The Hidden Bar Tour is not only the mix of people you get to meet on the night, but an introduction to a nightlife you may not have realised existed in Adelaide. The tours are not age-specific, as long as you’re over 18 you’ll fit right in!
For the whisky and/or gin lover, the boys offer a whisky and gin variation of their tours. You can view the different tours here.
For work parties, hen’s dos, birthdays or even just a night out with a loved one, Adelaide Bar Boys have your sorted. Better yet, the boys are running their tours throughout the fringe season – a perfect addition to a night out during mad March!
