Have you ever wanted to try your hand at Pilates but you’re not sure where to start? Or maybe you’re not even sure exactly what Pilates is? The full-body exercise is now a household term and a staple in the routines of pretty much every celebrity we know of. But you don’t have to be on the A list to reap the benefits of this effective, body toning workout. The team at Studio Pilates are hosting an open invite Pilates event at their Adelaide CBD, Norwood and Henley Beach studios for FREE, and the best part is that it’s all to raise money for a great cause.
Held on Saturday June 8th, the Hundreds for Hope fundraising event sees Studio Pilates throw open the doors of all three studios in the name of raising money and awareness for the Kid’s Cancer Project, who offer support to children with cancer and their families. Studio Pilates will be running free orientation classes from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm so it’s a great opportunity to give Pilates a go and give a donation if you like.
Studio Pilates franchisee, Jo Thiele, said, “If you’ve ever wanted to try Pilates, now is your chance! We encourage anyone in Adelaide who’s ever been curious to try Reformer Pilates to head down to one of our studios for a free orientation class and to give to a great cause. We’d love for you to reach into your pockets for any gold coin donations on the day, and to try your chance at winning some of our incredible prizes donated from our supportive local community.”
The studios have teamed up with a range of local businesses to raise donations for raffles and prizes, including Silk Laser Clinic, Grilled @ Grange, Nourished Kitchen, and a whole bunch more. So not to worry, if you don’t walk away with a love of Pilates you won’t walk away empty-handed!
