Off the back of 2018’s hugely popular Sneaker Lab, Spendless Shoes return to Vogue Festival this year with Slide Lab. Have your very own Spendless Shoes slides personalised by the Slide Lab’s team of accomplished designers with your choice of art and design. The lineup of acclaimed graphic and visual artists will be lead by designer and typographer Lauren Dragosetti from Just Sayin’ Girl.

David Jones ambassador Victoria Lee will fly in to celebrate Vogue Festival, joining Vogue’s Edwina McCann in Rundle Mall for the Festivals official opening on Friday. Get involved in store with activities like pop-up bars, guest DJs, exclusive offers, make-up master classes and styling tips. Our in-store highlights would have to be the Q+A with Acler designer Kathryn Forth and The Daily Edited’s pop up candy bar.
You’ll also have the chance to win big with their famous ‘Vogue Gumball Machine’ which holds exclusive prizes for shoppers who are feeling lucky.
Activities will run 10pm – 9pm Friday 18 October & 10am – 5pm Saturday 19 October.
Given Gelato Messina‘s glowing reputation this pop up shop is sure to be one of the busiest areas in Rundle Mall. Find flavours including their signature salted caramel and white chocolate, pistachio praline, tiramisu, super dulce de leche, chocolate fondant and strawberry sorbet flavours.
There will also be two special scoops at the festival, each holding an important place in the hearts of the store’s Adelaide-born founders, Nick and Danny Palumbo. Sample Fat Clemenza, Sicilian ricotta gelato, cracked cannoli shells, citron, and chocolate bits or taste test Breakfast in Adelaide, Nutella fudge and yo yo biscuits – an ode to Nick’s favourite childhood snack.
The temporary Gelato Messina store can be found near the Mall’s Balls sculpture, Thursday October 17 until Sunday October 20.
