The 2020 ANZ Community Ball is to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on 14th March 2020 and tickets are on sale now! Enjoy a fabulous night out while supporting those in need with all proceeds from the night going to 12 South Australian Charities – last year nearly $250,000 was raised for worthy causes.
The host of the fundraiser for 2020 will be the Jodi Lee Foundation. Founded 10 years ago when Nick Lee lost his wife Jodi to bowel cancer, Jodi was diagnosed at age 39 and lost her battle two short years later.
The Jodi Lee Foundation now reaches millions of Australians through its national initiatives, empowering people to take active steps to prevent bowel cancer by acting quickly on symptoms, screening for bowel cancer every two years from age 50 and leading healthy lives.
“Hosting the Ball is not only an extension of the valuable partnership with ANZ but it also allows us the opportunity to educate more South Australians and raise much needed funds to continue our quest to eliminate Australia’s second biggest cancer killer. All partnerships are important but this partnership with ANZ is saving lives.” – Jodi Lee Foundation Chair Nick Lee
Brendan Rinaldi is the ANZ Business Banking General Manager for SA/NT, he says the event is a chance for the local business community to come together to support several organisations that all make an important contribution to communities across the state.
“ANZ is proud to partner with the Jodi Lee Foundation to bring our local community together for a fun night showcasing outstanding local entertainment, premium South Australian produce and, importantly, providing support for local charities.”
The event is also supported by key sponsors including KordaMentha, InDaily, Peter Kittle Toyota, Kaesler Wines, Saint & Scholar and OTR. Proceeds from the ball will support 12 local charities including the Jodi Lee Foundation, Backpacks 4 SA Kids, Hutt Street Centre, LifeChanger Foundation, Royal Flying Doctor Service and United Way South Australia just to name a few.
International music sensation James Morrison and his amazing Motown Band will provide entertainment on the night. Plus you’ll enjoy a feature from the 2019 Generations in Jazz Big Band Winner, Prince Alfred College.
This black tie event includes a major raffle and charity auction with a brand new Toyota Corolla Hybrid up for grabs thanks to Peter Kittle Toyota. ANZ has also rallied its network of community and business leaders to donate items including travel, entertainment, media packages, food and leisure packages and sporting goods.
