What primer and setting sprays should we use to keep in place?
Skin prep is your best friend when it comes to makeup longevity. Using an oil-control moisturiser on oily skin, or a nourishing cream on dry skin will let the foundation survive the day without sliding off or drying out.
A setting spray is always my favourite way of finishing off a makeup. Spraying Urban Decay All Nighter or Morphe Continuous Setting Mist onto your foundation before setting, then locking in with a dust of powder will help your base last.
Are there any special foundation to use with longevity in mind?
Long lasting foundations such as Estee Lauder Double Wear or Smashbox Studio Skin Full Coverage Foundation are a no brainer. However, dewier foundations such as Face Atelier Ultra or MAC Face and Body will get along with dry skin and nourish while providing day to night coverage.
Do you have any other magic makeup tips?
Carrying a powder and concealer in your bag is a fab idea. The chin and nose areas are often the first to go due to eating and face touching, so be mindful and touch up as needed.
What kinds of hair styles hold longer?
A slicked back style will stay put and give off serious bad-ass vibes, or a voluminous pony will be fun and stay put and out of your face.
If you know your hair can’t hold a curl, choose an up-do to keep your hairstyle looking gorgeous.
What products should we be using? Wax, gel, hair spray?
Using a mousse on towel-dried hair will help styles last. White Sands Texture Spray used before styling will not only protect the strands, but also give the hair some texture and hold. Evo Volume Powder used on the roots will give some grit, and some serious va va voom. Use a tonne of hairspray and go party!!
