Mahiki Hair have always been a premier salon in Adelaide with their clients their number one priority. So, when they announced that they had become a Kerastase salon and asked us to try out their Fusio-Scub and Fusio-Dose, we jumped at the opportunity. Here is Elly’s experience at Mahiki…
As I entered the salon, I was greeted by the always friendly Style Director Brodie, who is also Mahiki’s very own Kerastase Ambassador.
Over a coffee, Brodie discussed the treatment and the process for the afternoon.
Firstly, Brodie would use a Kerastase diagnostic camera to prescribe just what my hair needed. The diagnostic camera allows your hairdresser to look at your hair and scalp up close – it magnifies by up to 500 times allowing your hairdresser to build an ultra-precise diagnosis.
After my diagnosis, Brodie concluded that my scalp was normal to oily and therefore prescribed me with the Scrub Energisant. As part of the Fusio- Scrub, you also have the opportunity to select an essential oil of your liking. As it was the end of the day, I chose the calming sandalwood.
Not only does the deep cleansing power of the scrub promote skin renewal and provide a healthy and detoxified hair base, it also made my hair feel squeaky clean and fresh. It felt like all the bad toxins were removed from my hair in minutes!
After the scrub, I finished off with a tailor made Fusio-Dose which was the perfect finish to my first Kerastase experience.
After my treatment, Premier Stylist Zoe finished with a blow wave and style. I could immediately feel the difference in my hair and scalp. It was so much easier for them to brush and once blow dried was so smooth and shiny.
As I write this, my treatment was seven days ago and I can honestly say my hair has never been better. I have more volume, my hair is less fluffy and it is the shiniest it has ever been!
For anyone looking to revitalise their hair, I strongly recommend the Kerastase treatment available at Mahiki Hair!
