Adelaidians far and wide flocked to Wayville Showground last FRI-YAY for the annual Groovin’ The Moo festival. The attendees seemed far from bothered by the festival’s move from the hills of Oakbank to the concrete jungle of the city. While the rainy weather held back, the same couldn’t be said about the choice of attire. Bold prints, shiny sequins, and sparkly faces were aplenty, not to mention the abundance of Coachella-esque hair dos. The outfits for the day were fresh from a ’70s Woodstock playbook… and we loved it! Who doesn’t want to channel their inner hippie flower child? Sway to the music and pop your peace sign in the air, we say! If you missed out on the day, be sure to add GTM to your event hit list next year. From the talented acts to the feel good vibes, it’s certainly a day worth calling in sick for. Sorry boss!
On another note, props to Tash Saltana who played her last show here in Adelaide before pulling out of the rest of her gigs due to a battle with laryngitis. You wouldn’t have known because, as usual, she killed it!
